The Spring promises to be an exciting new season for concerts, so make sure you grab tickets to your favorite events before they are all gone. Lauryn Hill: February 14th – March 14th, 2020 R&B legend Lauryn Hill just announced a new tour for 2020, and there are a bunch of U.S. dates included in the mix. It’s a brief tour, lasting only a month, but there’s a lot being packed into it. At this point, tour stops are exclusively in the Northwest portion of the U.S., but we expect that this will be changing in the near future. Hill’s 1998 album, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, has been widely regarded as one of the best albums of all time, even for those that are not R&B or rap fans. In fact, she had a huge 20th-anniversary tour that wrapped up in 2018. This is going to be a huge event, even if it is a short one. Tickets are almost guaranteed to sell out for this one, so you will want to secure yours as soon as you can. Head over to our listings page to see what’s available. Casting Crowns: March 5th – July 27th, 2020 Christian rock group Casting Crowns just announced that they will be extending their Only Jesus tour. The tour, which is based on their hit song by the same name, has received a lot more attention than what the group was originally planning on, necessitating an even bigger tour. 22 new cities have been added to their docket, giving their fans many more chances to see them perform live. Although they have a reputation for writing intricate melodies with Christian themes, they’ve appealed to a wider audience throughout their years and have been hailed as one of the groups reinventing Christian music. The genre as a whole had earned a pretty bad reputation because of shallow musical themes, but this group helped to break that mold. And now you can enjoy their music live. Check out our listings to see if the new leg of the Only Jesus tour is headed toward you. ZZ Top: December 29th, 2019 – May 24th, 2020 Rock icons ZZ Top recently announced that they will be adding a few more shows to their 50th-anniversary tour. The group formed in 1969 and has been rocking loudly since. They are one of the few bands left from this era, and they are still going strong. The addition of these new shows helps old and new fans alike to have one more chance to see them on stage. It’s definitely worth your time if you’ve never seen them live! Another major group will be playing at a few shows with ZZ Top: Cheap Trick. If you’re interested in seeing the two of these stalwarts of Classic Rock play together, you’ll need to buy tickets fast. These shows are guaranteed to be some of the biggest of 2020, so check out what’s available now in order to not lose your chance. We have a wide variety of tickets available; head on over to the listings page to see what’s still left. Tech N9ne: April 1st – June 5th, 2020 Tech N9ne just released a new album called EnterFear Level 1 back in November, and the follow-up tour to support it is nowhere. Tech N9ne was one of the founding members of the group Strange Music, and now that he’s going out on a solo tour, the popularity that he built there is following him. This current tour has more than 50 dates set, promising to be one of the bigger events of the Spring. He will be visiting cities like Dallas, Seattle, Portland, Denver, and Atlanta along the way. If you’re a Rap fan, this is a tour you will not want to miss. And if you’ve never heard Tech N9ne’s music, what are you waiting for? He’s one of the most influential voices on the scene right now—the size of this tour is a testament to that. Be sure to check him out on YouTube and then head over to our tickets page to see what tickets are still left. You won’t want to miss this chance to see Tech N9ne perform live. Other Artists to Watch She hasn’t played a lot of live events over the last couple of years because of illness, but Selena Gomez has a new album coming out in early 2020. We really hope that there are a few live dates scheduled to help boost this! Iggy Azalea also has a new album coming out in 2020. There is very likely to be a new concert announcement coming from her, too.
