The latest batch of new concert announcements and updates is in! The winter is looking like it will be almost as busy as this past summer was when it comes to live music, and that’s a good thing for us music fans. As some of the summer tours are winding down, major new concert announcements are being made almost every day. This list contains the highlights from the last week of announcements in the world of live music. Here, we compile the biggest and best tour announcements for you into one place so that you can stay ahead of the curve when it comes to knowing what’s going on. These shows are more than likely going to be huge, and by being one of the first to know about them, you can give yourself the best chance possible of getting the best seats. And while you’re at it, be sure to check out our other concert listings. These shows are just a handful of what’s currently going on, so check out what’s available and make sure that you don’t miss out on your chance to see your favorite group performing live at a stage near you. Billy Corgan: November 4th – November 20th, 2019 Lead singer of the Smashing Pumpkins, Billy Corgan, just announced a new solo tour. This will be a brief excursion across North America, hitting up just 12 shows, some of them in repeat cities. For fans of the Smashing Pumpkins and Corgan’s other incarnations, this is exciting news, even if it is a smaller tour than what was hoped for. Corgan recently regrouped the Smashing Pumpkins and saw huge success with a 2018 album, but he hasn’t let that success get in the way of his music. He’s been recording with other groups, playing solo, and focusing on other ways to expand as an artist. The end result is a much more mature, more focused Corgan up on stage. If you’ve always wanted to see him play live but haven’t had the chance, this is it. Grab tickets today before they disappear. You can check out what we have available in our listings section. SuperM: November 11th, 2019 – February 6th, 2020 The K-Pop superstars, SuperM, just released U.S. tour dates earlier this week. Even though their debut album was just released on October 4th, they’ve already begun climbing the charts. The group is kind of a supergroup of K-Pop stars, including Taemin from SHINee and Kai from EXO. The group’s quick success can definitely be attributed to this experience, along with a little bit of help from social media. This promises to be a huge tour, including stops in Chicago, Fort Worth, San Diego, and New York. If you’re a K-Pop fan this is going to be the highlight of the winter. Be sure to see what tickets are available today to make sure you don’t miss this chance to see one of the biggest K-Pop events ever. Opeth: February 13th – March 4th, 2020 Opeth has a new tour scheduled for 2020. The Swedish metal giants have been a fan favorite here in the U.S. for years, and this new tour is going to be huge because of this. They just had a new album come out in late September, and this tour should be highlighting many of the songs from that. Called In Cauda Venenum, the album is a tour de force of metal. The Swedish group is one of the more fun acts to watch on stage, so the sooner you get tickets, the less likely you are to miss out. See what we have available now to guarantee your spot at the next Opeth show. Celtic Women: November 26th, 2019 – May 8th, 2020 Celtic Women are celebrating their 15th anniversary as a group in 2020, and you’re invited to the celebration! The Irish quartet will be touring North America and the world during this time, playing music from across their years of performing together. 62 concerts are scheduled during this time, and there’s always a chance that more dates will be added to the mix. The tour kicks off in Bethlehem, PA, and will work its way through the U.S. They released their 13th studio album in 2018 and are still seeing a good deal of success from this. They are a fun, entertaining group on stage, even if you’re not a huge fan of the traditional Irish sound. This is a tour for the memory books, so make sure you get your tickets well ahead of time to guarantee your seat at their nearest concert. Other Artists to Watch Although the tour started in 2018 and extends into 2020, Elton John’s farewell tour promises to be one of the most popular of the year. It was the highest-grossing of 2018 and it is the most likely candidate to take 2019, too. There are still many U.S. dates ahead, but tickets will be scarce. Check out what’s available so you don’t miss your chance. Adele is rumored to have a new album coming soon. If that’s the case, a tour is likely to follow. All signs point toward this happening in 2020 but keep your eyes open!
