One of the cool things about the fall concert season is that it blends a lot of different tours together. Some groups are finishing up summer tours while other groups are just heading out for a long winter on the road. It makes it so that you can find a little bit of everything. Regardless of what your taste in music and festivals might be, you’re going to find it—or you won’t have to wait long to find it, at least. With that said, this was another exciting week in the world of concert news. Several groups announced new tours and there are a few others that we’re excited to hear from soon. This is where you’ll find the latest updates from the world of live music. Check out what’s going on and then head over to our ticket section so you can make sure that you don’t miss out on any of the action. Tori Kelly: January 28th – March 1st, 2020 Grammy winner Tori Kelly will be out on the road early in 2020 with a tour to support her newest album, Inspired by True Events. The album is set to come out early next year, and you can get a taste of what will be on the album early if Kelly is stopping by a city close to you during this tour. Major cities on this tour include Boston, Cleveland, Toronto, and Birmingham, just to name a few of the early highlights. There will also be West Coast stops toward the end of this new tour, including San Francisco and Los Angeles. Kelly’s music has been an inspiration, both in the Gospel music scene and beyond, helping thousands to enjoy good music while they worship. Even if you’re not a fan of Christian music, this promises to be a fun, uplifting tour. Little Dragon: April 15th – May 12th, 2020 Little Dragon, the Swedish Electronica outfit, just announced a smaller Spring tour in the U.S. for 2020. 19 cities will be included on this tour, including Washington, Philadelphia, and Seattle, for a start. Although it’s a short tour, the group will be hitting up a good portion of the country. That gives fans a lot of extra opportunities to see the group, maybe even more than once, depending on where you’re located. It’s been a couple years since Little Dragon last released an album, with Season High being their most recent release back in 2017. However, with the momentum that this tour should produce, it wouldn’t be a surprise to hear that a new album is coming out in the coming months. This should be an exciting show for fans of EDM music, so don’t forget to buy your tickets well ahead of time to guarantee good seats. The Turtles: June 8th – August 31st, 2020 The Happy Together tour is back, with classic rockers The Turtles leading the way. This is the 11th annual Happy Together Tour, and it looks to be just as exciting as tours of the past. In addition to the Happy Together tour, The Turtles do have about 20 other shows scheduled for the summer. Fans of their music have a lot of opportunities to catch them on stage. If you’re interested in the main event, though, you’ll have to move fast. Chuck Negron of Three Dog Night, The Association, and Mark Lindsay of Paul Revere and the Raiders will be joining The Turtles for this unique collection of classic rock pioneers. Old fans and new will be buying tickets soon for this tour, so don’t get left behind. Head over to our tickets listings page to make sure you get your tickets early and ahead of time. This is always an amazing experience, but tickets will sell out quickly. Don’t miss your shot. The Lone Bellow: February 12th – April 24th, 2020 Indie rockers The Lone Bellow are headed out on a new tour for the year 2020. Based out of NYC, this group has started to gain a pretty big following for an under the radar band. This new tour looks to be huge. It will start out on the West Coast and will be spending most of the time out that way, which is great if you’re located there. There will be a few East Coast shows, so you’re not entirely out of luck regardless of where you live. This group is always fun live and their relative smallness and lack of mainstream exposure make their shows intimate as well as exciting. If you’ve never heard them before, check them out on Spotify or YouTube. And then head over to the tickets section to make sure you have tickets well ahead of showtime. Other Artists to Watch Kanye West’s new album is unlike anything he’s ever released before. While those who have followed him shouldn’t be surprised by the new Christian theme to his music, there’s a lot of uncertainty regarding what lays ahead for the iconic rapper. Keep your eyes open for a new tour announcement, which we expect any day now. Selena Gomez is getting ready to release a new album soon. A couple of songs off of it have already started getting radio time. This is an exciting time, and there’s a lot we still don’t know about the album and the tour—if there will be one—that’s to follow. Fans of Gomez should be paying attention to see what’s next for her.
