Wilco 2021

After Jay Farrar left the alternative country band Uncle Tupelo in 1994, the remaining members of the group came together to form Wilco. Of those original members, only lead singer Jeff Tweedy and bassist John Stirratt are still in the group. Wilco is based out of Chicago, Illinois and their name is an ironic nod at the military radio abbreviation for “will comply.” The line up solidified as Tweedy, Stirratt, guitarist Nels Cline, multi-instrumentalist Pat Sansone, keyboard player Mikael Jorgensen, and drummer Glenn Kotche. They have produced ten studio albums, a double album of live performances, and several collaborations. Three of the collaborations have been with Billy Bragg and another was with The Minus 5.Read More ...
