This was an exciting week in the world of concert announcements. A bunch of big artists announced new tours or extensions of old ones. Even though the fall and winter are usually associated with less music, that’s an old misconception. This promises to be an exciting time for fans of live music.
Here, we’ve listed some of the bigger announcements from the last week. Head on over to our ticket listings page for a more complete of what’s currently going on.
Lauren Daigle: September 21st, 2019 – July 18th, 2020
Lauren Daigle just announced a brand-new tour for 2020, extending her current tour supporting the 2018 album, Look Up Child. Although Daigle is a Christian artist, her music has found a huge amount of support, which is not typical for those within her genre of music. Touching upon themes of grace, forgiveness, dealing with rejection, and love, her music has received a lot of mainstream support and radio play. That’s good for fans of her music because it leads to big tour extensions like the one that was just announced. Songs like “You Say,” “Come Alive,” and “You Say” have helped catapult her into the spotlight, but it’s her impressive stage presence that has kept her there. These dates will sell out so be sure to buy your tickets as soon as you can so you don’t have to miss out on the next time Daigle plays near you.
In Flames: November 3rd – December 20th, 2019
Metal group In Flames is back out on the road, this time hitting up a city near you. Based out of Europe, they will be kicking off this 36 city North American tour in Colorado, hitting up several West Coast cities before heading up to Canada. There, they will start to make their way East and back down into the U.S. New York, Baltimore, and Atlanta are a few of the cities they will hit up on this side of the country. Then, they’ll finish things up in Dallas. In Flames has been a fan favorite since they hit the scene back in 1996, and their newest album, I, The Mask, has also received rave reviews. This show promises to be an awesome one for metalheads all over. Make sure you don’t miss out on this chance to see them play live and get your tickets now.
Kidz Bop: November 1st, 2019 – March 8th, 2020
This is one show that your kids will thank you for bringing them to! Kidz Bop just announced a new 20 date North American leg of their tour. The kids’ group has been a hit sensation for years, and the singing and dancing ensemble is now back out on the road. Boston, Madison, Atlantic City, Los Angeles, and Atlanta are just a few of the U.S. stops that are included. There will also be a number of Canadian shows with stops in Hamilton, Vancouver, and a few others. Kidz Bop has earned a solid reputation amongst the younger audience members for making kid-friendly remakes of top radio songs. They put on a fun show that will be perfect for your family, regardless of how old or young they might be.
Lindsey Stirling: November 19th – December 23rd
Violinist Lindsey Stirling will be out on the road later in the fall for a new tour. The Warmer in the Winter tour is expected to be met with a good deal of popularity. After performing as a fan favorite recently on Dancing with the Stars, Lindsey Stirling has found a new audience that loves to see her perform. Riding on the coattails of that, Stirling just released a new album at the beginning of September. It has already had huge success. Stirling isn’t your typical violinist. Combining rock and electronica sounds into her music, her shows are not at all what you might think. If you’ve never heard her perform before, you will definitely want to check her out on YouTube. And then you won’t be able to help but get tickets to see her and her fellow musicians perform live. This will be an exciting set of concert dates, so head on over to our ticket listings now to make sure you have good seats when she swings by your city.
Matisyahu: September 27th, 2019 – January 23rd, 2020
Matisyahu just announced a new tour. It’s been a few years since he put out his last album, but this tour is already gaining some momentum. The Grammy-nominated singer will be hitting up cities like Buffalo, Montreal, and Salt Lake City. This tour should be pretty big, and it wouldn’t be too surprised if an album release is scheduled in the next few months. The good news for Matisyahu fans is that if you won’t be able to see him play on this new tour, there are several dates scheduled where he is playing at festivals and smaller shows before this kicks off. Grab tickets today so you don’t miss your chance to see Matisyahu live.
Other Artists to Watch
Shawn Mendes is currently sitting at number 2 on the Billboard top 100. He’s been on tour overseas recently but will be coming back to play in Mexico in December. It’s only a matter of time before new U.S. dates are announced.
He just keeps getting bigger and bigger. Post Malone has two of the top five songs in the U.S. right now, and he’s already out on tour. If you haven’t seen him yet, don’t miss out. This is one of the biggest tours in the world right now.
