Rage Against the Machine: March 26th – April 17th, 2020
The biggest news this week is that Rage Against the Machine is getting back together and heading out on the road. This is going to be one of the biggest tours of 2020, and it’s one that you will not want to miss. The 90s thrash metal group created a lot of fans because of their politically tinged music, speaking out against fascism and infringements on personal liberties. “Bulls on Parade,” “Down Rodeo,” “Testify,” and “Sleep Now in the Fire” became huge rock anthems and still receive a ton of radio time. They’ve only announced a few tour dates as of right now, completely on the West Coast. There are probably going to be many more dates to come, and you can almost guarantee that tickets will be the hot item of the year. And as such, they’re going to be really hard to find on the primary market. That’s why we have tickets on our site. Check out our listings here to see what’s available.
Journey: December 27th, 2019 – September 12th, 2020
Journey and The Pretenders will be heading out on a 60-city tour in 2020. The Rock n Roll Hall of Fame inductees have been a high draw group for decades, and their newest tour doesn’t look like it will be any different. “Don’t Stop Believing” is probably still their biggest hit, although the group has recorded dozens of radio-worthy songs over the years. This tour will be prefaced with a few shows in Las Vegas for Journey that were already scheduled. Even though Journey is a Classic Rock group, they still know how to put on an awesome show. If you’ve never seen them before, this is your chance. Tour dates will more than likely sell out at most venues, so don’t wait too long to get your tickets.
Sturgill Simpson: February 21st – March 24th, 2020
Sturgill Simpson is one of the biggest names in underground Country music. This new tour, which will see Tyler Childers joining him, is expected to be a big hit. Simpson just released an album back at the end of September, and this tour is building off of that momentum. Before these tour dates, he will be performing at a number of shows in Europe. If you’re a Country fan and have never heard Simpson, he’s definitely worth listening to. His gritty music is true Country at its best. Songs like “Turtles all the Way Down” and his cover of Nirvana’s “In Bloom” have proven to be hits for the musician. These will be exciting shows; don’t miss out.
Niall Horan: December 11th, 2019 – May 20th, 2020
The former star of One Direction, Niall Horan is heading out on a solo tour of his own. One Direction was one of the biggest boy bands of all time, and now that some of the members of it have struck out on their own, they’re not really losing much of that popularity. Horan is a prime example of this. His Nice to Meet Ya tour kicks off in April, with Horan playing a few festival shows in December before things kick-off to give fans an early taste of his music. The song “Nice to Meet Ya” just came out in the beginning of October and has already become a huge hit. Pop fans will not want to miss out on this tour. Check out our ticket section to see what’s currently available.
Other Artists to Watch
Speaking of One Direction, Liam Payne has a new album ready to drop in December. More than likely, a tour announcement will accompany this new album. Payne’s fans will have a lot of competition and tickets will be limited.
Pitbull had a big album release at the end of September. U.S. tour dates haven’t been announced yet, but we have a feeling that they’re coming soon.
Country darling Miranda Lambert had an album release on November 1st. She’s already touring, but there’s a strong chance that more dates are still to come. Fans of Lambert—and Country in general—will want to stay tuned to the news so they don’t miss another chance to see her live.
