Chicago Fire 2020

The Chicago Fire were founded in 1997 as one of two expansion teams who joined the league in 1998. Their debut season was something no club has since accomplished. The Fire won MLS Cup, knocking out the reigning champions, DC United, and won the U.S. Open Cup completing a history trophy double. While that was Chicago’s only MLS Cup to date, the club has been a strong contender throughout the past two decades. Four Open Cup trophies in total and two more Cup appearances. The Fire has been the home to USMNT legends such as Brian McBride, DaMarcus Beasley, and Carlos Bocanegra, and international superstars like Bastian Schweinsteiger and Cuauhtemoc Blanco.Read More ...
