The Arizona State Sun Devils are one of college football’s most recognizable programs. And the Sun Devils have produced some of the game’s greatest moments. There was the 1970 Peach Bowl, a game in which the Sun Devils capped off a perfect season by beating the North Carolina Tar Heels 48-26. There was the Jake Plummer led 1996 team that beat then number 1 and defending national champion Nebraska 19-0. And, of course, there’s the 2010 Territorial Cup, when James Brooks blocked two Arizona extra points (one at the end of regulation and one in the 2nd overtime) to give Arizona State a 30-29 victory.
