The Georgia Bulldogs have one of the richest traditions in college football. From Vince Dooley to Kirby Smart, the Georgia Bulldogs have been responsible for some of the most iconic moments in college football history. As iconic as any was during Georgia’s 1980 national championship season when Bulldog quarterback Buck Belue hit Lindsey Scott (Run Lindsey! Run Lindsey!) for a 93-yard touchdown with 1:05 to go to give the Bulldogs a 26-21 victory over Florida. There’s also 1996 when Georgia, after Bulldog mascot UGA nearly took a bite out of an Auburn receiver, won a four-overtime battle against rival Auburn in Jordan Hare 56-49. That was after Georgia quarterback Mike Bobo hit Corey Allen for a 30-yard touchdown pass on the last play of regulation to send the game into overtime.
