The Mississippi St. Bulldogs have been a force in college football for many years. And that reputation has been built by many great moments over the years. There was the 1999 Egg Bowl when Wayne Madkin hit Adam Joiner for a 38-yard touchdown pass to tie the game at 20. Then, Ole Miss quarterback Romaro Miller’s pass was tipped by Robert Bean, then picked and returned into field goal range by Eugene Clinton. Scott Westerfield’s kick put the finishing touches on the 23-20 victory. There was the 2013 Egg Bowl when Dak Prescott came off the bench in the 4th quarter to lead the Bulldogs to a 17-10 win in overtime.
