As the summer winds down, a lot of fall and winter shows are being added to the calendar, giving music fans a lot to look forward to. These are the highlights from the last week. Tool: October 11th – November 25th, 2019 Tool just released their first album since 2006, and metal fans everywhere are losing their minds. The reclusive band has now announced a tour that will be going along with that album. Tour stops include major cities like Los Angeles, Toronto, Detroit, Philadelphia, and more. The band has played a few shows here and there over the last decade but hasn’t done much as far as major tours. This show promises to be everything that Tool fans have been waiting for from them. With their progressive rock roots and metal influences, Tool has been a cult favorite for years, influencing and shaping many other artists along the way. Brockhampton: October 26th – December 13th, 2019 The hip-hop group Brockhampton just announced a big North American tour this week, hitting up more than 20 cities late this fall. The Hometown Heroes tour is set to visit just a handful of midwestern cities, but Michaels will be touring the U.S. before and after these dates. This will be an exciting set of dates, but don’t despair if these new dates don’t stop near you. You’ll have a bunch of other shows to choose from where Michaels will be appearing. He’s a legendary performer, and tickets will sell fast for these dates. Move fast if you’re an 80s rock fan; there’s no word on whether or not Michaels will be touring again in the future yet. Chelsea Grin: October 31st – November 27th, 2019 Chelsea Grin is headed out on a new set of tour dates this fall. They will be hitting up more than 20 cities during this timeframe, including major markets like Atlanta, New York, and Dallas. The hard rockers are still riding the success of their album from 2018, Eternal Nightmare, which had a ton of critical acclaim. The Acacia Strain, Spite, and Traitors will be accompanying Chelsea Grin during portions of this tour.
