Pepsi Center 2022

Located in the heart of downtown Denver, the Pepsi Center opened its doors in 1999. The 18,000-seat capacity means fans have plenty of options when it comes to sporting events. The arena is the permanent home of the NHL’s Colorado Avalanche and the NBA’s Denver Nuggets as well as hosting smaller events throughout the year.

When not hosting sports, the arena brings in some of the biggest names in Show Business. In the past, Elton John, Shawn Mendes, and Eric Church have all performed to thousands of screaming fans. With a great location and a fantastic lineup of performances, the Pepsi Center stays busy year round.

  1. Where To Sit

For Sporting Events: As with any ticket purchase, where to sit boils down to budget vs. want. Everyone wants to sit courtside and yell at the players, but few people get that opportunity. Let’s be more realistic.

If you’re ready to spend some big bucks and impress your company, sections 102 and 148 are direct across from the player benches and come in as some of the best seats in the house. If you want to be close to the action, it doesn’t get any better.

For a great view of the action with a substantially cheaper price tag, stay in the same sections, but go a little further away from the court. The views are best for the avid fan, and the price tag is much more realistic. The lower you go in the bowl, the more expensive you’ll find the tickets.

Family outings are have always been an integral part of sports, so if you’re ready to bring the family, we recommend sections 328-332. These upper deck seats have easy access without giving up too much of the game experience.

Sometimes, you want to go to the game, but the only focus is the price. That’s fine too! You can find inexpensive tickets when you look in the right places and search for the right times. We recommend sections 318-324. These upper-level seats are in the corner providing an impressive view of the action.

For Concerts: Almost everyone agrees that the best place to enjoy a concert is on the floor right in front of the stage. If being too close to the stage is not your cup of tea, you can stay on the floor and find a head-on view of the stage from sections DDD-FFF. Just like with the sports seats, keep your budget in mind when looking at the head-on tickets.

In the Pepsi Center, the best options for a mix of price and views of the stage are sections 102 and 146. You get a blend of good proximity to the stage, excellent sound quality, and of course, much easier access in and out of your seats.

Pushing further back to sections 324-326, you’ll find some of the cheapest tickets without sacrificing the great views. If the price is your biggest concern, we suggest starting there and working your way around the upper deck to find the seats you want.

What To Expect When You Arrive:

Security and Bag Policy:  All attendees are subject to metal detector screening, visual inspection, and a thorough bag inspection at the entrance. Bags over 14”x14”x6” are not allowed. For a full list of policies and what to expect, see the FAQs on the arena’s website.

Parking: The Pepsi Center offers plenty of options for parking with several lots surrounding the arena. The lots are named for different Toyota Models, so it’s easy to remember where you parked. The downtown light rail also has a stop just steps from the front door, so public transportation is always an option. If you want another way to get close, rideshare services like Uber and Lyft have drop off lanes.

    Pepsi Center Experience

If you’re ready for a meal before or after the show, we recommend checking out Brooklyn’s at the Pepsi Center, which is almost directly across from the arena. You’ll find great food at a reasonable price. Plus, the place stays open late on the weekends in case you want to keep the night going!

The Pepsi Center sits close to incredible food and lodging choices, so you’re taken care of before, during, and after the show. Don’t miss out on your chance to live the experience too.
