This coming summer already has a lot of great concert announcements, and things look like they’re just starting to get heated up. Knowing what concerts are headed your way—or which ones you will want to make a major trip to catch—can help you to stay ahead of the game. The sooner you know about a concert, the sooner you can get tickets to go see it. It might not always be the best move to buy tickets right away, but knowing that you will want to go see a band perform will help you to plan ahead and make sure that you not only get to go see a show but also get a good deal on those tickets.
We can help you in both areas, but first, you need to know who will be playing. Below, you will find a few of the biggest concert announcements from the last week.
Hollywood Vampires: May 10th – May 17th, 2019
The supergroup Hollywood Vampires just announced a limited set of new dates. The group, which is comprised of actor Johnny Depp, rock legends Alice Cooper and Joe Perry, and a few other rotating members, will be playing exclusively in the Western portion of the U.S. Tour stops include a few locations in California, Colorado, Las Vegas, and Arizona. Because each of the main members of this band is heavily involved in other projects, a concert announcement is a rare occurrence. You can bet that these tour dates will be popular thanks to that. If you’re a fan of this group, or just curious to see what happens when these stars perform together as a group, this will be a fun show to attend.
Willie Nelson: June 14th – July 3rd, 2019
Willie Nelson is a legend in the world of music. He has been an active figure in country music scene for more than 40 years, and you can safely assume that he will put on yet another amazing performance this summer. The Outlaw Music Festival is only scheduled to be a few weeks long, but it will include performers like Nelson, along with other big names like Phil Lesh, Counting Crows, Old Crow Medicine Show, and The Revivalists—just to name a few. Whether you’re a country fan, or just love a festival full of talented musicians, this is going to be a major series of shows this summer. Tour stops include Maine, New York, Pennsylvania, Canadian shows, Ohio, Illinois, and one final show in Texas.
Atreyu: April 13th – May 10th, 2019
The metal band Atreyu just announced a list of tour dates with fellow heavy rockers, Motionless in White. This tour is in support of Atreyu’s seventh album, called In Our Wake. The album came out late in 2018 and is still looking strong when it comes to sales and streaming figures. Over the years since they first broke onto the metal scene, Atreyu has gained a massive cult following, and this tour promises to be as big as ever, even though it’s only a few weeks long. One of the things that makes this tour so exciting is the fact that the group split up for a period of about three years as members of the group pursued other projects. Since they got back together in 2014, there’s been a little bit of concern over how long this iteration of the band will last. This tour promises to be exciting, especially if you’re a long time follower of the group.
Maluma: September 6th – October 20th, 2019
Maluma is one of the big names in Latin music right now. The 11:11 tour is in support of his album with the same name. His last album saw great commercial success in the mainstream market, and his newest tour is expected to generate much of the same hype. In the past, big names like Marc Anthony and Jason Derulo have joined Maluma. There’s still no word on whether we will see anyone else joining him on this particular tour. Either way, if you’re a fan of his, this will be a big event. The tour starts in the West and will work its way to the East Coast, including stops in New York and Virginia. This will be a popular event, so getting tickets early will be your best chance to ensure that you get in to see Maluma perform live.
Dallas Smith: September 21st – October 26, 2019
Dallas Smith is a big name in Canadian music, and his latest tour is paying homage to his home country. The vast majority of his fall Friends Don’t Let Friends Tour Alone tour will be headed through Canada. Smith hasn’t put out an album since 2016, but this most recent string of tour stops seems to be helping to build some hype as he might be releasing a new album in the near future. In the past, Smith has performed with big names in Country like Jason Aldean and even rock legend Bob Seger. There’s still no word on who will be joining him here, but even if he’s performing alone, you can be assured this will be a big tour. Act fast to guarantee yourself tickets to a show.
